(1) Introduction
After the combat update, I tested qs3 > mergen on many accounts and I have not been able to perfom well because of percentage scalings of all skills now. Instead of harping on a dying meta of quarrel shooter 3, I decided to move on and change the build to fit the current meta. As of the combat update on May 17th, damage over time skills like poison and bleed have lost their touch and are really not that effective anymore. Burst skills however, have shined well, and many instanced bosses are dying under a minute.

Still, I still love wugushi dearly, and want to incoperate at least some circles in it. However, after 4 resets, I found wugushi circle3 really lackluster and is a wasted potential going 3 circles deep into a class to find yourself just not doing damage fast enough. As DEX no longer gives critical rate, many skills now are an important step in attaining the crit required. Some skills include swift step on the archer tree, and Finestra from the Swordsman tree. Also, not to forget the nerfed-but-still decent sneak hit, which gives 40% crit rate when attacking from behind.

I apologize for not updating the build during the reset period, as I am really busy with real life stuff.

Pros of this build:
+ High burst potential
+ Low cost build

Cons:
- Bad at groups of monsters.
- Long cooldowns
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(2) Build Path:

Archer 2 > Ranger1 > Wugushi2>Rogue>Falconer>Mergen

General Strategy and tips
When bossing, start with self buffs, casting while jumping will remove the animation of your self buffs.
Do Swift Step, Steady aim and Sneak Hit, followed by circling when facing 2 or more mobs, move behind boss or use feint to make monsters turn. Use mergen skills before wugushi skills.

(3) Stat Distribution and Attributes:
Different stat builds, depending on how geared you are. No CON is required as of yet, hp growth is sufficient to clear all content (aside from Earthtower and such).

1) Full STR
When you are not really geared with sissel bracelets and max petamion. Wugushi poison continues to do damage based on STR, additionally, STR stat is buffed.

2)50 STR Rest DEX
When you are more geared, Playing on the chance to heavily do critical damage as dex gives critical damage. Sneak hit + Swiftstep + sissel bracelets gives you a pretty decent chance to do heavy burst.

Archer Attributes
Two-handed Bow Mastery: Anti-Air :: [Total Cost: 20,000 silver]
Your key to destroying flying bosses.

One-handed Bow Mastery: Ignore Defense :: [Total Cost: 20,000 silver]
Nifty attribute to have when you are earlier on, using your grand cross.

Wugushi Attributes
Wugong Gu: Continuous Infection :: [Total Cost: 60,600 silver]
Lets Wugong Gu tick for an additional 1 second per level (up to 5), meaning you have a longer window to spread Wu Gong Gu's infection to nearby monsters. Do max this.

Wugushi: Poison Reserve :: [Total Cost: 2,235,884 silver]
Decreases the amount of poison used per skill on the Wugushi skills. I won't recommend maxing this attribute as it cost 2 million silvers! I have this at around level 20, which costs around 200k silver.

Throw Gu Pot: Residual Poison :: [Total Cost: 54 790 silver]
This attribute allows your poison to continue ticking after the monster walks out of your Gu Pot for an extra 4 seconds, which is really great to have. Max it as soon as you hit Wugushi 2.

Needle Blow: Enhance
Let's your needle blow's first hit and continuous poison to tick for more damage per second.

Wugong Gu: Enhance
Same as above, but I will prioritize adding this attribute as wugong gu can spread your poison to nearby monsters, making it a semi-aoe skill.

Throw Gu Pot: Enhance
Lets your gu pot do more damage per tick. It is really handy now that they have increased gu pot's poison duration to (5 + (1*SkillLevel))Seconds. (Previously 6s).

Rogue Attributes
Sneak Hit : Duration
You need this attribute to keep sneak hit up. Max of 5 levels, each level adds 2s duration.

Fient: Backroll
This is the attribute which allows rogue to make monsters turn so you can land at least 1-2 skills on sneak hit with their backs facing you. Max of 5 levels too, each level increases the chance by 15%.

Falconer circle 1 skills have not much use too. Will avoid adding.

For now, skip adding Mergen attributes. I just find them too costly for little changes.

(4) Key Equipment and Cards
As said earlier, a wugushi can be lightly funded and still perform really well. Here are some equipment milestones you can aim for from the get go, and why I chose them.

Cards for Throw Gu Pot
Here I'll suggest what cards to put into your Poison Pot by order of importance and what kind of interaction they have with your skills. Its mostly a personal choice, but some do have better effects than others. Do note that there is no reason to justify leveling the card to 10* as the damage does not seem to improve.

- Canceril Card
Drops from Earth Canceril World Boss cube. A little rough to get because of the number of people hunting Canceril for Windrunners, but you can buy it off players for sure. This card creates a water shockwave that hits in a small aoe before exploding straight and it can hit flying monsters. Obvious choice since your gu pot does not hit flying monsters, and this can do some damage to flying monsters while it damages the land monsters. (Gu pot should hit even flying bosses now)

- Manticen Card
Drops from Manticen cube. This card creates an earthquake like shockwave when you use Throw Gu Pot that damages enemies in a small radius. It has pretty low damage, but any extra extra damage is welcome, plus it is easy to land.

Armor
- Cafrisun Armor

The Cafrisun set provides you with an extra line of bonus Earth Property damage that no other armor set in the game currently offers. It drops from Cafrisun at Srautas Gorge a little right from the teleporter. It has a 100% chance to drop any of the 4 parts, so if you are feeling grindy, just stick around and get the whole set, or buy it off the auction house.

- Eastern Leather Armor
The Eastern Leather armor is a fantastic choice for most archers now. Its stats add up, giving 37 DEX, 14 Crit Rate, 15 Crit Attack and 1 Movement Speed. It can be obtained from any monsters in Nacron Prison Hunting Grounds, accessible from Gytis Settlement Area ( north of Klaipedia)

Weapons
- Snake Bow

The Snake Bow is a pretty decent bow to use at level 120, as it has decent damage and a chance to poison the enemy you are attacking. Paired with Two-handed Bow Mastery: Anti-Air, you can pretty much destroy flying bosses, or monsters. It is also part of the crafting materials of Viper, so do get one of these bows. The recipe drops from Meleech at Dvasia Peak

- Viper Bow

The Viper Bow is the main bow you'll be using for this build, as for other Wugushi as well, mainly because of the huge poison property attack it offers. The recipe drops from Manticen in the Lv200 instance, but you can buy it for a rather cheap price from the Auction House mainly because it is quite difficult to craft. The hardest material to get in my opinion would be Obsidian, which drops from Rusrats at Royal Mausoleum 5F

Viper bow got a huge damage boost, with its damage matching a clean Maga Bow. Its a really decent weapon now.

- Manamana

The first choice in offhand weapon when you choose to stick with a crossbow for this build. It offers an additional AoE attack ratio for your gu pot and mergen skills, a nice +1 Movement speed and 279 lightning property attack. The recipe drops from Manticen in the Lv200 instance, Catacombs in Fedimian.

- Blood Dagger

At first glance, what is this dagger that does nothing? As its name states, its a Blood Dagger, and in it, a hidden interaction when using your auto attacks. It applies a bleeding effect similar to a monk's Palm Strike bleed that scales off your Elemental Attack. Now having a Viper will make this bleed for more damage for sure, but as it is a dagger, you will be swapping in and out of it quite often as the bleed rate is pretty low. It is alright for quarrel shooters as we do running shot more often. As soon as you see the bleed, swap back to your viper.
The recipe is obtained from Salvia Fores gimmick, where you have to knock fireballs into the middle platform without it touching the orbiting fireballs. Knocking 3 into the center will award you with either silver or a Forest Cube. Which might contain the Blood Dagger recipe, Chura, Superior Chura or Canine Decoration. The materials needed to craft are Red Guardian Spider eyes, which are found in that map, and Ticen Bones, from Moksul Chamber.

FAQs
1)Q: Recommended Gems for this build?

2)Q: Do I need to level boss cards for Gu Pot?
A: No. They do not improve anything.

3)Q: Do poison ticks snapshot? (Retain damage on weapon swap)
A: No. They scale to your current weapon.

4)Q: Is it fine to use x weapon with x sub weapon?

5)Q: Recommended equip cards?
A: Werewolf cards, glassmole cards.

6)Q: Does poison tick become stronger with higher attributes?
A: Yes. They do.

7)Q: Does poison stack arrow counts for Skarphugging (Hackapelle skill)?
A: Initial hit yes, DoT, no.

8)Q: Is this build for late game content?
A:Yes, I've shifted the build suitable for late game content.
